WOAH I'm flattered about the DD! Thanks so much!!! :)

=======================================

Hi there!
This is my version of realistic looking replica of the famous Majora's Mask, known from the same named Zelda title released for the N64, back in 2000.
Please feel free to check out the worklog on my Facebook-page.

The mask should be an (nearly exact) copy of an existing 3D modell, done by 3D-Artist Cordell Felix.

If there are any questions please feel free to contact me via DA and/or Facebook

Cheers,
Mario

Majora's Mask - Wooden Replica by ~supermaRiio is an exquisitely detailed replica. It's very realistic, yet it stays faithful to the original. ( Suggested by Purrdemonium and Featured by cakecrumbs )

You're welcome. :D
You have all reason to be proud of this mask. If you went into business selling masks like this one, I bet all Zelda fans (which is many) would want to buy one.

How long did it take you to make this beauty? :)

That is so amazing! What material did you use for this? Probably wonät get an answer to this since it has 600 comments already but I figured I'd try and ask anyway :P

I get notifications to every single comment and I try to reply to all of them, especially to questions :)
The kind of wood I used is basswood/limewood, whatever word you know :)

Really? It's actually made of wood? That's even more incredible. Definitely a piece of art you should be massively proud of! I want to make a majora mask out of clay but can't even figure out how/where to start. :'( :P

That's why it's called "Wooden Replica" in the title! :D
I really am proud of it, thanks a lot! There are so many tutorials on the internet regarding the work with clay.
Also I found a bunch on how to start making a mask like this from scratch.

Really? :S All I found was someone who made on solid out of clay and then used silicone and stuff over it. I guess I must get better att googling :P
